Accommodation Terms and Conditions (Kamakura a day) October 2025
Article 1
1. Accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded between our hotel and guests shall be subject to the provisions of these terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these terms and conditions shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established customs.
2. If the hotel accepts a special agreement to the extent that it does not violate laws, regulations, or customs, the special agreement shall take precedence over the provisions of the preceding paragraph. (Application for an Accommodation Contract)
Article 2
Anyone who wishes to apply for an accommodation contract with the hotel must provide the hotel with the following particulars:
1.(1) Guest name, address, contact details, gender, nationality and occupation
(2) Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
(3) Any other matters deemed necessary by the Hotel.
2. In addition to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, you also agree to the following:
(1) Foreign nationals who do not have a residence in Japan shall be required to present their passports, and Japanese nationals and foreign nationals who have a residence in Japan shall be required to present their passports or other identification such as a driver's license.
(2) Strictly observe the precautions when using the facility.
3. If a guest requests to extend their stay beyond the date specified in item 2 of the preceding paragraph, the hotel will treat this as an application for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made. (Conclusion of an accommodation contract, etc.)
Article 3
An accommodation contract will be deemed to have been concluded when the hotel accepts the application as set forth in the preceding article. However, this does not apply if the hotel proves that it did not accept the application.
1. When an accommodation contract is concluded pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay the accommodation fee set by the hotel by the date specified by the hotel.
2. If payment is not received by the date specified by the hotel, the accommodation contract will become invalid. However, this only applies if the hotel notifies the guest to that effect when specifying the payment due date.
Article 4
When an applicant for accommodation cancels all or part of their reservation, the hotel will charge a penalty as follows:
20% of the accommodation fee from 7 days before the stay
50% of the accommodation fee from 3 days before the stay
The day before your stay: 80% of the accommodation fee
On the day of your stay: 100% of the accommodation fee
Article 5
If the hotel suffers damage due to the guest's negligence, etc., the guest will be required to compensate the hotel for the damage.
